What I've enjoyed about 5510 

Love the built-in cabinets and slide out drawers in the master suite including a wet bar, which has been convenient for upstairs coffee w/ a Keurig. I put a mini-fridge in the opposite large cabinet for cold drinks. Custom lighting throughout with mood lighting in master suite and bathroom. Jacuzzi tub is really nice with adjustable jets. Upper and lower deck are great outdoor spaces (both have exterior lights and electrical outlets). Upstairs washer and dryer are super convenient. There is a large storage area under the stairwell extending through the coat closet. Epoxy coating and flaked garage floor laid in 2016. Definitely have enjoyed walking from the front door to the garage to a dry cool vehicle, not to mention the security and privacy. One wall in the garage in pegboard and great for organizing tools along with two sections of shelves. Hot water heater replaced 2016. The pool and tennis courts are very convenient from the back patio. Last summer I walked over to the pool 3-5 times a week for a relaxing swim, particularly when it wasn't crowded. Pool noise was never an issue for me as the pool closes at 8pm and I actually enjoyed the sounds of summer. 

 

Overall, I really have enjoyed the condo lifestyle. Weekends were spent relaxing indoors or on one of the decks, entertaining friends, walking or biking the outer Crown Loop, or going on local excursions, and not having to worry about spending free time on yard work or exterior maintenance. The neighbors are friendly, will pull in your trash can when you're out of town, and are respectful of your privacy. The Greenwich Place HOA is a small group of dedicated homeowners with a vested interest in the condominium community. The roof was replaced May 2020 and there are future plans to update landscaping and exterior repairs as needed. A capital fund was created for this purpose in order to prevent future fee assessments. Homeowners are welcomed and encouraged to attend meetings and board member positions are rotated every 2 years.
